Good Luck

I’m looking for a website (or websites) that provides an all-inclusive wedding package (flight, hotel, ceremony, etc). I’m looking for a site in southern Florida but so far all I’ve found are sites that include things for the wedding party and/or guests. It’ll just be my fiance and I going, so we’re trying to find something very intimate just for us. If anyone has ANY info, PLEASE let me know as soon as you possibly can! Also, we’re planning on going this December. Thanks for all the help!!!!

I am planning to get married on a cruise ship and only our immediate family will be in attendance. Is it ok to have a shower anyway?

Showers are usually thrown by bridesmaids or family. It would be odd for you to plan your own. Why don’t you throw a party to celebrate your marriage when you get back or at a time that is more convenient. You can register, or just let people bring gifts.

I’m into the Bible and I have a blog and like to write things I don’t know that I could be a full time preacher because I’m a quiet backward individual and don’t talk to people very well but is there anything on the internet or anywhere that I could take a course to be certified to preach weddings and things of that nature?

If you attend church you could ask them about their ordination process. Once ordained you’d need to find out whether or not it would apply in the jurisdiction you are wanting to perform weddings in.

My fiance and I are looking to get married in Las Vegas next year. We’re trying to have a wedding on the pirate ship at the Treasure Island Casino. Our style is more alternative/punk/retro, but it would be nice to find a wedding planner that specializes in alternative style weddings. We just feel an ordinary wedding planner will not be able to understand our needs. Any suggestions in Las Vegas?

I’am about to get married, its very hard to find a priest for a beach wedding (Catholic wedding)

The Catholic Church sees the marriage celebration as a church community function and therefore their Canon Laws (rules) of marriage say that the ceremony needs to happen in the church. The website link goes to a Q&A regarding Catholic weddings. The Canon Laws are numbers 1050-1065 (I think).

Many people have officiants perform ceremonies outside of the church, like beach weddings, and though the wording and style can be similar, the church will not recognize these marriages a valid church marriages….they are recognized as legal, but only a catholic pries/deacon can perform the sacrament of marriage and since they only do these in the church, the outside marriage isn’t recognized because the officiant isn’t recognized as valid to perform the sacrament.

So, it is possible to have a ceremony in the "catholic style" outside of the church, but your marriage won’t be recognized by the church as a valid church marriage.

You know how little kids want those annoying ass clowns and all those animals for a petting zoo and it all costs half of your vacation money or something, right? But your kid wants them so bad! Why not hire an Avian show? You know, a guy with macaws, parrots, toucans, birds of prey, etc. that are all friendly and taught to do a wide variety of tricks? And with those kind of birds, your kids can pet them, watch them do tricks, and since birds do a lot of funny crap, you got loads more comedy than a clown! And the guy doesn’t bring a truck load of animals to your place, but you can come over to his place, see what birds you like, watch them perform tricks, see what he recomends for your event, and you can create your own Avian Show Package that you will be able to negoatiate with the owner of the birds. And not just for parties, but for weddings, too! Because some people would actually pay to have something like a flock of tropical birds flying out all togheter after they both say "I do" and kiss! What would you think?
Yes, but the birds come to YOUR place.

Send them to their separate houses and go on yahoo answers

A sense of playful elegance underscores this dramatic set up. Rich reds and lush greens make up the color palette, while the white accents add a touch of tradition. Details are everything and they will shimmer and sparkle through your beach ceremony that will define richness and sophistication.
