I’m looking to cook a traditional Comorian meal and was hoping to find some dish suggestions. I’ve read that their elaborate weddings can last weeks. I assume that there are special dishes involved with such decadence, but I can’t find much information regarding their cuisine. Any information would be appreciated! Also, info on their eating customs (i.e. meal times, rituals, eating style) would be fantastic. Thanks so much!
It is mainly an African style from the precolonial times and then a huge French style which was introduced with their arrival from the 1500’s
There had also been the Islamic influences centuries before that.
