When churches refuse to offer deductible tithes to congregation members who admit to cheating on their taxes, then I’ll take that "contributing to sin" argument more seriously. Otherwise, it’s just a group of sanctimonious hypocrites who don’t like homosexuals, and aren’t shy about sharing their judgement. There’s no shortage of people willing to throw the first stone these days. Are the sins of a Homosexual any worse than the sins of a Jaywalker in God’s eyes?
Edit for the first answerer: What the hell is Gay Morality? Morality is morality- you’re either doing the right thing, or you’re not. The sexual orientation of the person you’re doing it to doesn’t actually make a difference.

This can also be confirmed by some of the actions by homosexual groups of the past. For example. Homosexuals had homosexuality removed from the list of mental illnesses in the early 70s by storming the annual American Psychiatric Association (APA) conference on successive years. "Guerrilla theater tactics and more straight-forward shouting matches characterized their presence"
Since homosexuality has been removed from the APA list of mental illnesses, so has pedophilia (except when the adult feels "subjective distress") . God bless.

And as regards taxing churches…
such an arrangement could be seen as violating the 1st Amendment since it would give governments the power to destroy religious sects that disagree with its legislation via taxation. Taxation has long been considered, in America, to be the power to destroy.
Churches should never turn away sinners, but neither should they legitimize their sin. If homosexual actions are sinful, than anything that applies of veneer of legitimacy is tantamount to heresy and a rejection of the basic morals of the church that taught such a thing.
If a homosexual is repentant of their actions and is seeking to amend their ways, or if they are living a celibate life I have no problem with it. The act is immoral, unnatural and damnable, the sinner is someone who needs compassionate attempts to steer them right, not outright rejection or encouragement to go further along the path they have chosen. Offering to "marry" homosexuals merely drags individuals into the sin of the two people involved, and only further destroys whatever sanctity marriage still possesses in society after the ravages of divorce.
